On Sunday, August 22nd, make your way to the the Belmar Arts Center for the Kaleidoscope Collection. Hosted by the Belmar Arts Council, this special event is sponsored by RadCakes and SummerTime Surf and it will feature exhibits & performances by local artists. There will be a half pipe built on location, along with live music by Brick + Mortar. RadCakes will also have new limited edition apparel for sale at this event. So get there early before it sells out! And when the event is over, keep the party going at 507 Main. They are offering drink specials for everyone coming from the Kaleidoscope Collection. Kaleidoscope Collection is a one-night event in celebration of the Southern Monmouth summer of 2010. Included in the exhibit are artists and performers who have come to know and love this wonderful place that we call home. Kaleidoscope Collection is a mixed media event exhibiting art, music, design and film in an attempt to capture the spirit of this place and cultivate creativity among the youth. These artists are unified in their appreciation and understanding of the unique character of the Jersey Shore. This motif is exemplified individually and collectively within their work. Come out and support these artists who have absorbed the energy of the area and responded to it with unique individuality.
